At Deary’s Gymnastics, our mission is rooted in passion, experience, and a lifelong dedication to the sport. Founded in 1982 by owner Robin Deary-Fillmore, our gym has been a place where athletes grow, achieve, and discover their love for gymnastics.

ROBIN DEARY-FILLMORE

Robin began her gymnastics journey at age 12 at Koinonia. She has competed all the way to Division I, now known as Level 10. Her dedication and talent led her to Regional and National competitions. She continued her career at Southern Connecticut State University, competing for four years and earning All-East Honors on Bars and Floor, and achieving All-American status on Beam.

At the heart of Deary’s Gymnastics is Robin’s passion not just for the sport, but for the people in it. The most rewarding part of her work is watching her staff grow as coaches and seeing them inspire the next generation of athletes. That commitment to mentorship, excellence, and community is what makes Deary’s Gymnastics a special place for gymnasts of all levels.

KASEY GAGNON

Kasey has been a part of Deary’s since she was born. The daughter of Robin, she started competing at the age of 7. She finished her last 4 years of high school as a level 10 gymnast making JO Nationals her junior and senior year. Kasey also competed for Killingly High School where she was inducted into their hall of fame in 2017. At Bowling Green State University she continued her gymnastics career on a full Division 1 scholarship competing at NCAA Regionals her junior and senior year as an All Around Gymnast.

Kasey began helping at the gym when she was very young and continued coaching through her high school and college years. She returned to Deary’s after graduation and has been the head DP Girls Coach and Team Coordinator ever since.

CASSIDY KAYLOR

Cassidy joined the Deary's Gymnastics family in 2013 where she quickly discovered a passion for the sport and everything it represents. Over the years, she has fallen in love with the energy of the gym, the incredible young gymnasts, and the wonderful families who make the Deary's community so special. She has always had a heart for working with preschool and recreational athletes, helping them build confidence, coordination, and a lifelong love of movement.

Cassidy is passionate about creating a fun, encouraging environment where every child feels supported, celebrated, and excited to learn something new. Although she still cannot do a handstand, she is the best at rallying all the kids who come through our doors as our

Preschool and Class Director.
